In addition to technical tests with the focus on every day use and system safety the solid lubrication for bicycles was put through its paces in various field tests. For this purpose, more than 100 cyclists tested the solid lubrication under different conditions: with racing bikes, trekking bikes and mountain bikes, on the road and off-road, in sunshine and rain, in slush and road salt. Together, the test cyclists covered more than 40.000 kilometres, some of them more (approx. 5.000 km), some of them less short and long distances. In doing so, apart from objective data as chain elongation, also subjective impressions were obtained and this, with different manners of driving.

With the help of the test results the solid lubrication could be further improved and adjusted to specific requirements.
